Premium Users - New Podcast Ads - Support

As others have pointed out, there are new ads in podcasts for premium users.

After chatting with support for two hours and getting gas-lit, being told that podcasts have had ads for years, about a new issue obviously many people are facing.

They finally "sent a report" to their ad team, but they can't contact me directly and said they would post any changes in the community.

Where is staff support with any issues brought up in these communities, I don't see it.

Ad team, please reply here with your findings about the new ads.

Thanks for taking the hours to complain. What is the point of having a premium account if you still have to hear so many ads?

“Thanks for taking the hours to complain” is the most disappointing sentence I’ve heard in a while. 

Nobody likes ads. But ads bring in the money that allow you to listen to your podcasts, at least right now. Please read something that explains how this works. You are not being disenfranchised

After years of listening to music, I have gotten into podcasts. Its a major setback that I have to skip advertising while paying premium fees. Its the kind of **bleep** that can get me to change to another service.
