2 family members can’t play their choices at same time

2 family members can’t play their choices at same time

We are family of 4. Spotify is great BUT whenever mum (me) plays something, it’ll knock eldest daughter off what she’s listening to and vice versa. Hubby & youngest don’t have this problem. How to fix please? I’m 53 and she’s 20 so some but not total overlap in taste 🫣

Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us here!

If you have a Premium Family plan, you might have access to up to 6 independent Spotify accounts, making it possible that each family member (who live at same address) listen to their songs simultaneously, without interruption.
If you're facing trouble when listening to music, it’s probably because you're sharing the same Spotify account with your daughter, instead of having your own account and her having her own one. In this case, I recommend that you take a look at this official support article as a way to find out how to invite your daughter to join your family household and have her own Spotify Premium account, as part of your Premium Family plan:
