21st century/multiple accounts

I have recently upgraded to family having come from deezer. I am staggered at how cumbersome it is to set up multiple users with the family plan. It really needs to change as we enter a time of many connected devices. It seems that I have to set up a fake email account to be able to listen to my Amazon echo and my phone at the same time (smalls kids listen in kitchen and i am on my phone while on my turbo trainer exercising)

Why cant I just set up different users in the app or on the web like with Netflix etc 

I can understand spotify being concerned about abuse but that could just as easily be done with fake emails. 

Deezer do it I think so come on spotify.
