Adding a member to a family account while being outside the country

Hi,

 

I've been a Spotify premium members for years, with an account in my home country, Spain. Now, my wife and I are living temporarily for a few months in the US, and she would like to have her own Spotify too. So I changed my account to the Family plan, and invited her. Now, since she made her free account in the US, Spotify does not let her accept my invitation because both accounts are associated with different countries. And on top of that, she cannot change her account country in her settings. I think this is really stupid from Spotify. I am paying for a service that we basically cannot take advantage of.  This is really pissing me off and I'm thinking of moving to Apple Music or so if I cannot get this fixed. Furthermore, there seems to be no way of contacting anyone at Spotify to help me find a solution. 

 

Anyone here knows a solution?

Hey @wrsc, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Please ask your girlfriend to try again, this time following these steps:

It will be helpful if she clears cookies/cache before doing it.

 

After that she should be able to accept the invitation!
