I’m trying to join my husbands family account but it’s saying the addresses don’t match - when it’s the exact same address as the one I’ve entered.

Can you try entering a more simple address? For example, the one of a public building near you. If there is a number in front or behind the street name, try leaving it away.

Hello! I am having the exact same issue. This is a brand new account my husband created today. Have tried joining and had no luck. Have tried with the house number, without the house number and still no luck.
We live in Spain and there aren't many buildings around so I just added the address exactly as my husband did when he created the account.

I was invited to join a family plan so I've considered the exact same address has the main account but i get the message in the picture attached. What should i do? Thanks in advance.
I still can't make it work. I've tried all the combinations of the address. What should i do?
I am having this same problem. I've tried typing the address exactly. I've also tried using a simpler version of the address (no unit #) that pops up. No matter how I try it says the address doesn't match, and I can't join the family plan.

Thanks for reaching out!
Due to updates made by a third party provider, addresses that were previously available can become unavailable. Unfortunately this isn’t something we’re able to change on our end. However, this can be easily resolved if the Family Plan owner updates the address on their account page. If they can't find their specific address anymore, they can enter the nearest address that can be located. For example, if they can't find their apartment number they can just select the building, or a close landmark.
Afterwards, they can send you a new invite and let you know the exact address they've entered and you should be able to join.

I had been facing this problem for a week and just now found a solution. It might not work for everyone but I was missing a big step! The Family Plan manager has to verify the correct address after logging in, going to "Subscription" and then "Manage Members". There the option to change your address will come up with the same Google address population options given to the members on the plan when they are verifying their address. Changing your address anywhere else on Spotify does not change the Family Plan address. Hope this helps!
