Allow only one Kids account per device

My Question or Issue

Hey, I'm using family premium with 3 kids accounts, configured for different ages. But after installing the kids app on the device of the youngest one, she can change to the kids accounts of the older ones without needing the parent pin, just by tapping on her avatar. Hence, filtering the ages before doesn't make any sense. How can I restrict usage of kids accounts to only (the right) one per device?

Right now, there's unfortunately no setting to set a PIN/password when switching between different kids accounts.

I recommend creating an idea for such a feature here. That way, other users can add their +VOTE to it.

Hi maxim, thank you for the reply. But, basically, this means, that all my kids could be in the same age restriction group, since they can switch accounts as they like? Which furthermore means, I'm paying for the spotify family to get five accounts, but only need three...

If you view it that way, yes - but only if they know how to switch accounts.

As mentioned in my previous post, feel free to create an idea so that it might get implemented by Spotify 🙂
