App Version 8.5.28 does not go online anymore

App Version 8.5.28 does not go online anymore

Last week I changed from Premium to family account.

Now the ipad of my daughter, working with the main account before this change, does not go online anymore.

She is using an iPad iOS Version 10.5, no upgrade possible anymore. The spotify app is version 8.5.28.

If I go to the „search“ section the status line at the bottom is showing „connecting…“.


The iPad is definitely online. All other Apps are working properly.


I can not deinstall the App, because the version in the App Store requires iOS 13 upwards.


Any idea, why the current installation does not work?

Thanks for coming to the Community.


If you're having trouble using Spotify on a device, you'll also need to make sure that particular device meets the current minimum system requirements.


Unfortunately, if your device doesn't meet the minimum requirements, it won't be possible to use Spotify and access Spotify content through the Spotify app or troubleshoot it properly.


You can check out Spotify's current minimum system requirements here.
