Can't Convert premium individual to Family premium

Can't Convert premium individual to Family premium

I want to change my profile Premium Individual (since 2019) to Family Premium. I have the opportunity to change, but when I select I receive following error message (sorry it is German):

Wir können dein Abo leider nicht umstellen. Das kann verschiedene Gründe haben. Vielleicht bist du nicht berechtigt, dieses Abo zu nutzen. Oder du nutzt es bereits oder hast keine Zahlungsmethode angegeben.

(Translated):

error

Sorry, we can't convert your subscription. This can be due to several reasons. Maybe you are not authorized to use this subscription. Or you are already using it or have not specified a payment method.

Have anybody an idea?

What kind of payment method are you currently using to pay for Premium? 🙂

I am using SEPA Direct Debit Mandate (in german: SEPA-Lastschriftmandat).

Thanks for letting me know.

 

In this case, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can subscribe to your desired plan at https://spotify.com/premium.

 

Instructions on how to cancel and how that affects your account can be found at https://support.spotify.com/article/cancel-premium/.
