Hi

I'm trying to access audiobooks on the family plan as a plan manager, but they all seem to be locked. 

I'm in Ireland, but based on the newsroom article it's available in my location. 

Any advice on what to do here?

While Audiobooks should generally be available in your country, they're, unfortunately, currently not included in Premium.

 

Some countries have access to the Premium catalogue and in other markets they can only be purchased.

Imagine paying for premium and wanting to listen to audiobooks because it's listed as a feature even for Ireland. YET it is literally locked???

I understand where the confusion might be coming from, and I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way.

 

Audiobooks are a new feature that's being introduced gradually. Although they're generally available for purchase in your country, the Premium catalogue, offering 15 hours of listening time, hasn't been rolled out in Ireland yet.

 

For the latest updates on Audiobooks, check here, and make sure to keep your app up to date.

 

Hopefully, you'll have access to the feature soon.
