Changing a family member from kids to full premium family member

Solved!

Changing a family member from kids to full premium family member

One of our family members in the Premium subscription is set up with a 'kids' account. I would like to upgrade the account to be a full member. I can't seem to see anywhere how I can do this. In the account management screen, all I can do is Remove and Add accounts, but I'm wary of doing that as I'm not sure what we might lose in the transition.
I can't find anything in the Help/Support pages on how to do this.

Hey there,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

If your family member has an existing Kids account, you'll need to create a new regular account here.

Spotify Kids is a separate application that works in combination with family subscriptions without the need for the family member to have an e-mail address, so when you create the new Spotify account you'll need to use the family member's personal email address. There's, unfortunately, no way to transfer any of the data.

If the member you wish to re-add to your family subscription is no longer in that minor's age group and now has a standalone account, then you can remove the old Kids account from your account page and send an invite to the newly created free account.

Hope this clears things up!

Can you add a teen onto your spotify account with your own email address or do they need their own email address?
