Hi,
My Spotify family account is linked to my KPN contract. As I am planned to leave KPN, how do I continue with Spotify family?
As I don't want to lose al our playlists and accounts for myself and my kids.
Can I include (after contract end) all free accounts ( I suppose this will happen) back into one family account, and if so how?
thanks, Peter

Hi there, @Peter22223,
Welcome to the Spotify Community!
Yep! What you need to do is cancel your current subscription with them and wait for it to expire. When your account reverts to free, you can start a new subscription directly through Spotify and invite the rest of the family back to the new plan. Everyone gets to keep all their playlists and items in their library after cancelling, so no worries there (you may only lose any downloaded music for offline listening, as this is a Premium feature, but you can re-download it anytime once you resubscribe) 👍.
Since your plan is currently associated with a partner company (ex. your mobile or internet provider), to cancel, you need to contact them directly. You can find their contact link on your account page, if necessary:
Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘

Since accounts can join a new plan every 12 months, doesn't this affect the accounts?
Hey @ItzGz,
Thanks for joining the thread with this question!
Since the same person would be upgrading to Family again (the manager of the plan won't change) it shouldn't affect the other users re-joining as only the payment provider would be changing.
Hope this clears things up and don't hesitate to let us know if you're wondering about something else 🙂
We have recently lost our Spotify premium account. Didn’t renew my card in time. If we re subscribe and invite the same people will their play lists etc still be accessible
