Dear Spotify,

i am paying now each month 17,99€ for sharing spotify with my familiy.

I am wondering, if my kids creating playlists, why they are per default "public" and not "private".

Sorry, but nowadays, the default setting should be "private". Only if i want to share something, i have to do change the setting by myself to public.

For a Family Account I expect, that per default everything is private, only if i aggree, i change the default setting per User to "allow public".
The members setting itself should also be per default "private". Only if aggree, they can change their own general behaviour to public.

I hope you soon think about your philosophy and change this item.

Hey @NaCkHaYeD,

Thanks for reaching out.

If your kids are using Spotify and haven't reached the minimum age to use Spotify yet, they'll need to use Spotify Kids instead of a regular Spotify account. It's not possible to create public playlists within the Spotify Kids app 🙂

Sorry for complaining.

Spotify Kids is in our eyes useless. I allow my kids to hear the normal music like they have from the radio stations.
For me, it doesn´t matter how old my kids are or if I am the user.
I compare it with the real life. I will never go to the center of a city and will everybody tell, what my interest are. If I know somebody, I decide what I am telling him.
There is no advantage, that every playlist of mine is shared with everybody. If I want to share something with somebody, I need to switch something to public and not the opposite way.

If you sell a family plan, i expect, that I am as an owner of this plan, will have the possibility to admin some settings, like the content of the music (E-Symbol), or why we have this setting in the family plan?

Also we have in the EU a law to protect the privacy, in Germany called DSVGO, where I have aggree to it, before you share something.

So please, just think about your philosopy, there is no need to share everything without permission.
