Duo and college kid

I would like to start a duo subscription with my daughter, but she is currently away in college.  She is still my dependent and during breaks and summer (when not in summer school) she lives in the same home with me.  Can we still do the duo plan? How will she verify her address via GPS if she is 450 miles away at the moment?

I understand your concern.

In order for the Premium Duo plan to work, both people have to reside at the same physical address.

In this case - what I would recommend is when your daughter gets back home - she can then sign up for your Premium Duo plan.

so does that mean she is only allowed to access while she is back at home? If she leaves for college for the fall semester, will she no longer be allowed to use it?

Hey @KellyP61,

She will be able to use the plan when she travels again. Spotify only checks the address at the moment she joins Premium Duo. As long as she doesn't cancel her plan, she'll be good to go.
