I just upgraded my premium account to a family premium account. Now I wanted to invite my family members - but they always get the same error "you have to live in the same country". When I registered Spotify (a couple of years ago) I was still living in Germany. So my registration-region was Germany. I changed it now to Switzerland (with changing the payment-data) but still my family members get the same error-message. Do they really have to wait 1 month until the changings will be realised with my next spotify-invoice??
Normally you do need to wait out your new invoice, because this is when your address gets updated. If waiting is not an option though, our support should be able to cancel your subscription before its end date. Note that it can currently take up to several days for you to get a response.
