Family Account signup issues - possibly double billed

Hi I tried to sign up for a family account, I filled out the payment information and signed up, I filled out the address form and when I tried to invite my brother it wouldn't work, error message. When I looked at my username it was a long string of numbers and letters like "am2asdfkxjdalsdjfas" or something i logged out and logged back in as me and my family info and premium wasnt there. I went through the process again and it seems to be working for my account. I am worried I will be double billed for the first strange signup.
