Family Members Listening on Separate Devises

Hi there,

So I just upgraded from Premium to the Family Members in order to have my boyfriend and I listening under the same account without getting kicked off. We both tried listening after switching and he unfortunately kicked me off again so only one of us is able to listen to music at a time. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

The reason why you and your boyfriend are being kicked off is because you guys are listening to music on the same account at the same time. To avoid this, since you guys have a family plan, you would have to create another profile. Once you have done that you would have to invite him to the family plan and add that account. However since you are creating another account the playlist that you want to listen too would be on the main account linked with the family plan. So what I would recommend is actually making the playlist collaborative. This enables both of you guys to edit the playlist eventhough you guys have different accounts.
