Family Plan address verification won't allow household member to join

Family Plan address verification won't allow household member to join

The invite screen says "We couldn’t confirm that you live with the plan manager for this Premium plan." however I am trying to join a family plan with my husband and we do live at the same address. We've verified that the addresses do match on both accounts. The screen says to wait 12 months to join, but we're not sure why.

Have you previously been part of a Premium Family/Duo plan? 🙂 If so, you might have received an email asking you to confirm your address within 7 days. If you didn't confirm within that period, you were removed from the plan.

We have move to Australia, my wife has a family plan . I am trying to join now but Spotify doesn’t let me saying we are not in the same adresse . But we are leaving together and putting the same adress

 

i cannot join the familly plan 

My confirmation email went to spam so I missed it, now I am out of my family plan unable to join and forcing me to create a personal premium account, is there another way or "second chance" to verify my account? My sister is really annoyed too as she is the owner of the account.

@BastienSauvet, can you double-check if the countries of your and your wife's account match on your account pages? Your wife can also check the exact address she used for the plan there so that you can make sure you're entering the same one.

 

@hugosanteliz, if you've missed the verification window, it would be best to reach out to the Customer Support Team and they can assist you further.

I need help, the chat agents are the worst trained in customer service, they close the chats and ignore when i ask for a sup. My dad is old, we live in same house but they keep saying he needs to join another household or pay new membership for him... He is paying for my membership, am a student and we live in the same house. I was able to make my mom join but not him. I thought spotify was the best but is letting me down more and more, i have been a paying cx for a long time and am thinking of canceling it... I cant believe it..
