My Question or Issue

When I invited my grandfather to Spotify Family, after filling out all his account info and getting the account created, the webpage displayed the name of a user on my plan and said "You are joining USERNAME's account" (something similar to this.)

If I am the primary account holder, it should be saying they are joining my account.

please check your account name using the account page:

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

 

Sometimes it's a number, this is not what you like normally but i want to check if that is the username he saw. If so that's the root cause which needs to be fixed.
