Family account member - old premium account?

Family account member - old premium account?

Hi, I just invited my daughter to the family account. She had her own premium account before, with her playlists etc.

Does she have to cancel this account now or will it be added to the family group when she accepts my invitation, and she just won't get an invoice any longer?

Hey there @Dusty01, welcome to the community!

 

That's a good question! No need to worry, she can join your Premium for Family plan even if she's already on a Premium subscription. All her account details will remain, like any saved music, playlists and followers. After she gets accepted into the plan, all subsequent payments on her account will be made by the plan owner 🙂 

 

Keep in mind however, that if she has subscribed to Premium through another company, like for example a mobile phone carrier or iTunes, she will need to cancel her subscription with them before starting or joining a Family plan.
