Family account

Hi. I am a spotify premium member and i am trying to set up my famliy (3 kids and husband) in the family account. I have set them all up with their own email addresses and invited them to join my famliy account. I then click on the link in their email and go to create their own account. First it says they are too young so I have now lied about their age. Now it says oops there seems to be a problem and I am unable to sign them up even though i have changed their age. I then tried to go via the main spotify page (not from link in their invite email) and it says their email addresses have been used already.  What am I doing wrong. This is extremely frustrating.
