Family changing

Hello,

I used to be in a spotify family with my roommates. Our plan has recently expired, but we all finished university and moved away, so we decided to do not subscribe again. I was not the admin in that family.

Me and my new roommates would like to start a new family with me as admin and I was wondering whether I could just start the new plan or I had to follow a procedure in order to "detach" from my previous family.

You should be able to start a new Premium Family plan without any issues 🙂

If your new roommates haven't been in a different Premium Family/Duo plan in the last 12 months, they should also be able to join your plan. This is because you can only switch from one Family/Duo plan to another once every 12 months.
