My Question or Issue
Hi, when i browse my app under my account, I can see audiobooks which are able to be played. However when I use my kids premium family login under their iPad, same audiobooks shown as locked. What gives? Some kind of early restrictions or teething issues as it seems audiobooks for streaming is quite new.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Im aware that some plan managers were offered audiobooks for their plan members for an additional fee, and all members now have access. How do we access this, or is this part of the 'exploration' mentioned in this solution?
Thanks
Yes it's a stupid policy, the 15 hours should be shared over the entire family IMO.
But the people talking about rights etc are a bit unhinged.
Spotify started with 10 free audiobook hours, one day they just gave it to us without raising prices. It's something that was never there, then it was for the same price, no one complained then.
They now have 11$ more to allow access to all family members and they all get there own limit, which is expensive and I probably won't do it, but it is reasonable if all family members will be using it.
I think that's ok, but the basic premium family should be able to "share" the existing 15 hours.
this answer is from October 2023 and nothing changed until September 2025yy
Oh, not right… Spotify is getting more expensive… congrats!
Did you ever get a response or resolution for this post?
Please fix this so that all family members can access, various members are borrowing my phone and fighting over it, this is dumb.
