I just upgraded to the family plan and I entered a family member as the family plan details.  How do you change the family plan name ?

Hey @new24core,

 

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the address registered on an existing Premium for Family plan.

If you move, or enter the wrong details, you need to create a new account and subscribe to Premium for Family on that account. Don’t forget to cancel the plan on your old account 🙂

Well I think that one for the UX backlog.

 

So I created another account and I still have the same issue with one of the emails.  Basically, the invite is not hitting my inbox.  I had the same problem with the first account.  My test message reach the mail account fine but the invite is not being sent. This is a brand new email account for my daughter and there it is not in the **bleep** folder.  What is going on ?

You can try sending the email to an alternate email address. The email address that receives the invite doesn't need to be associated with the Spotify account in any way.

Spotify have implemented such a poor UX for family plans.

I just did the same thing (will not call it a mistake). The UI is extremely poor for the Family Plan. I was prompted to "Invite family members" and so I clicked that button, then I was presented with a name/address form. Due to the very poor UI of this form, you're not aware that they are asking for YOUR (as: the Family Plan's owner) name and address, because you just clicked "Invite" button. So, now I have my wife's name attached to my Spotify account. You cannot change it. You cannot even view it! It just says "You" and that's it. Super secret stuff. And your response to this is "create a new account"? The account I had for years is now broken and I have to make a new one, because I'm unable (and the support is) to change a name, bound to my account? How is this acceptable?
