Help!  Does the family plan allow you to each listen to your own music at the same time?  My girls keep fighting over who gets to listen to the app.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We moved your post from Chats to the help boards as its content fits better here.


The Family subscription is a plan that allows different users to be part of the same group getting Premium features in each one. Since all the accounts joined to the plan are individual, all the users would be able to play their music at the same time without taking over the playback of the other ones.


When this happens, most likely you're both using the same account (same email and password). To prevent this from happening, make sure that you're using your own account and that the other user is already added to the Family plan. Once you confirm this info, we'd recommend logging out of the app and logging back in, but using your own credentials, instead of sharing the same email and password.


In case the issue persists, since we don't have access to users' accounts, we'd suggest contacting our Customer Support directly so they can check the accounts and help you further.
