Family-share playlists EDITABLE by everyone, please

Family-share playlists EDITABLE by everyone, please

My fam all wanted to switch from Pandora, and while I can see the appeal of having a little more access to music; some of the settings are beyond frustrating!!! We just got started and there is no more "collaboration" setting, wth?? And why is there no ability to turn off censored music for some accounts and not others?? Why can't I change my DOB? I pay the bill but I can't change any settings??? Beyond stupid. This is a premium service that is at a very basic level.

Hey @typeajl,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your reply out of the thread it was in to one of our Help boards, since it fits better in a new thread.

That being said, we'd like to add that the process to create a Collaborative playlist is a little different from the one you found on the other thread. To create a collaborative playlist, you just need to follow the steps in this article. You can find the option to invite a collaborator in the three-dot menu or next to it. It looks like this in both mobile and desktop:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

On another note, an option in Settings > Explicit Content allows Premium users to enable or disable Explicit Content. We understand you noticed some of the accounts don't have this feature. Would you mind asking the owners of said accounts to check if they can see the option from a different device.

Lastly, you can change your date of birth in your Account page> Edit profile. If you perhaps can’t change your date of birth, this means you created your account with Facebook so those details are registered with them. If that's the case, you can contact our Customer support team, so they can help you check some options to fix it.

We hope you found this helpful. We're always here to help.
