Family sharing invite accepted but then linked to wrong account

Family sharing invite accepted but then linked to wrong account

Hi I sent an invite to my daughter for family sharing which she accepted, which then linked some other account with a different email address. Her account with the right email address, which the link was sent to, is still on basic subscription

Sounds like your daughter might have more than one account. Let's try following these steps to make sure she's logging into the correct one.

 

If you're sure she doesn't have other accounts and you don't recognize the account linked to the plan, we suggest cancelling that invite and sending a new one to the correct email address.
