My Question or Issue

I upgraded to a family subscription as soon as I received the email offer.

I then received a link from Spotify to place my order with Google.

I then used this link and Google received my order, then almost immediately cancelled it for no reason, as they have done to many others, stating "they could'nt verify my information".

I have contacted Google Support and they have  "escalated your case to our product specialist". That was a week ago and ive heard nothing back since, even after attempting to follow up twice on it.

Reading the forums I see some people have had success if they get a new link from the offer from Spotify.

Are you able to provide me a new link?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

 

Google has really stuffed this up.

Could you try this using a different browser or incognito mode? If that doesn’t help, please send me a screenshot of the error message being shown (make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the community).

Hi Billy,

I previously atttempted those sugestions with the google support contact, and they did not work.

I am unable to use the link in the original email as it states that the code has already been redeemed when i go to the checkout stage.

 

i had read that other clients with the same issue had been reissued the code/voucher and were able to order the google home mini.

I've had the same issue. I've been a spotify family premium member for ages so thought this was a great promotion!

 

I've gone through Google Support as their Store cancelled the order 8 minutes after placing it, however they are saying it might be a Spotify issue.

 

I've tried Incognito, i've tried clearing caches, but they all say the code has already been redeemed.

 

Could someone from Spotify help with a new code please?
