Hey @CarriSue,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Just a heads up, invites to a Premium Family/Duo plan aren’t tied to a specific account. When you open the invite link, you should be prompted to sign into your existing account or create a new one. If you’re not seeing this, you’re probably already logged into the wrong account.

I’d suggest trying again on a different device or in another browser.

Also, keep in mind that playlists, saved music, and other content are tied to your account, not your subscription. Even users on Spotify's Free plan can access and save content like this.

Let me know how it goes!

Hey @CarriSue,

Thanks for reaching out.

What is preventing them from logging in and/or accepting the invite? Are there any error message(s)? If so, which one(s)? 🙂

I can accept the invite but it doesn’t take me to my previous account. It gives me one with no playlists and a different name. We have tried sending several times and logging out. The account on the invite has a bunch of letters and numbers and the username and password. The username cannot be changed.

Thank you! Appreciate your help. They sent me the link instead of the invite and that worked! A week without my music was painful. I love my Spotify!
