If you're unable to use the Premium benefits after getting Premium, a couple of things could be happening.

Make sure you're logged into the correct account by following this troubleshooting. Sometimes we set up multiple accounts and mix them up.

If you're sure you have the correct account, try a quick reinstall. This'll clear all the Spotify cache on your device and helps with many issues that could pop up.
