How do I leave a family plan without modifying the family plan?

I would like to leave a family plane that is managed by someone else. I do not want to change the plan for current users. I just want to go to an individual plan.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You can "cancel" your membership via the cancellation process for a paid subscription with the difference, that the cancellation of your membership in a Premium Family plan has an instantaneous effect. More info on how to do that can be found here.

This, of course, does not affect the Premium Family plan itself, but only your membership in it. Once that's been done, you can subscribe to Premium at https://spotify.com/premium.
