How to change a 1 year paid premium plan to familiar plan

I want to change my plan for a familiar plan, but i have paid 1 year.

Thanks for reaching out.

You can try upgrading to Premium Family at https://spotify.com/family. If successful, your existing Premium time will be converted into Premium Family time, and this can bring your payment date forward due to the price difference.

Unfortunately, the solution did not work, a new total charge was made for the new plan.
