How to know if I can rejoigned an other family account

Solved!

How to know if I can rejoigned an other family account

Hello, I have a doubt about the family subscription. How do I know if I can join another family subscription? (when it says a change every 12 months does that mean that we can change once?)

and where or how do I know when this period has expired?

Thank you very much for your help

Hey @yo591,

Thanks for reaching out.

Members of a Premium Family/Duo plan can switch plans once every 12 months. This means they can switch from plan A to plan B, but they’ll need to wait 12 months from the date they joined plan B before being able to join plan C.

If you’re within that 12-month period, you can always rejoin the plan you were last in (plan B).

To check when you last switched plans, try looking through your emails for any notifications from Spotify about joining or leaving a plan. Unfortunately, there’s no other way to see when that 12-month period ends within the app or account settings.

Hope this helps clarify things! 🙂

Thank you very much for the answer!

I have another clarification to ask.

I had a family subscription so I was the owner. I had to change the payment method for the account and therefore my subscription was not renewed automatically.( SonI came back to a free account)

The members of my family group were therefore "ejected". If I put my payment method back and they join my family group, will that count as a change for them?

I hope I was clear enough? 😉 but I have no doubt that you will be able to help me 😍

Hey @yo591,

Thanks for getting back.

That won't count as a switch, since you'll still be using the same Spotify account as before 🙂

Hope this helps.
