Husband cannot login to Premium Family after spotify logged everyone out!

Husband cannot login to Premium Family after spotify logged everyone out!

After everyone was logged out of Spotify a couple of days ago my husband cannot login to his account.

I have Premium Family, I have had it for a long time and my husband has always been added to it but since being logged out we cannot get my husbands account to start up again (login I mean).   I have managed to log into my account.

My husband has an iPhone XR, and when you look in his settings, you can see his user name but if you ask to send a link it states that "we sent you an email with a link" but no email is received.  My husband only has one email account.  I have tried to contact spotify several times on chat and it is next to useless!

Please can someone help, my husband has many playlists which I don't want him to lose.

Hey @wdiddy21 ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

It's possible that your husband has got 2 accounts with Spotify. Maybe one of them has been set up using an entirely different email address?

With Family plans, it sometimes happens that people register a family member's email on their own account when trying to set things up, so I recommend checking

everyone's email for a password reset message (after requesting a password reset, of course).

https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/

Also, when Spotify had a short downtime a few days ago, no passwords were reset, so if your husband knows his username and password, he should be able to log in using those, no need for an email address.

Let me know how it goes 🙂
