I can’t join our family subscription - can only change once per 12 months

I can’t join our family subscription and when I try it tells me that I can’t change twice in 12th months even though I haven’t changed my subscription for over 18 months plus does anyone know how I can get help with this problem?

I find this as a stupid limitation. I just want to change the account managing the subscription. Why do we need to wait for 12 months?

I am blocked from adding people to my family plan, and spotify support says switching plans would not enable me to add people even to these new plans. 

 

This is a core feature of spotify and really tempts me to switch platforms. I dont understand why I cannot add people

PLEASE REMOVE THE 12 MONTH RESTRICTION ON JOINING MULTIPLE FAMILY PLANS**bleep** IS SO **bleep**ING STUPID

Me pasa lo mismo y soy administrador del plan, tengo 2 lugares disponibles y no me deja agregar mas miembros, las personas que intento agregar tienen suscripción gratis y no han estado en plan familiar

I've never been so frustrated with spotify! My family used to have one family plan and it worked for a long time.Until it expired, and there's some issues. Now, my sister (a different account from the other plan) made a new one. Every other family member besides ME was able to get into the plan. It says I now have to wait 12 months for me to join that plan. This is insane! We paid good money for this plan and its only going to waste.

Spotify keeps generating the same invitation link over and over, and I can’t invite my girlfriend who lives with me in the same apartment. She has never been part of any Premium Family plan before, so the ‘12-month plan change’ rule shouldn’t apply.

hello, i have made sure the person i have for the family plan invite, is the last person i was in a family plan with previously. it is still restricting me for 12 months and i find it outrageous that it has blocked me like that.

My Question or Issue

My family had all been on the Family Plan for years and recently the manager of the plan moved overseas and confirmed his address through Spotify.  I set up a new family plan for the members of my family still in the US but now it says that they can't join because their address can't be verified.  We live in the same house and our address is correct on our accounts.  Can they seriously not join my new plan until a year has passed?

Minha mãe deixou de pagar o nosso plano família, com isso a minha irmã assumiu o pagamento e me mandou um novo convite, mas agora não consigo entrar no plano gerenciado pela minha irmã, vou ter que esperar 12 meses pra entrar no novo plano da minha FAMÍLIA ??? É sério isso ? 

I can´t join my account (premium family) I guess its because my credit card had a problem, how can I restore the acount?

Hi everyone, I have a Family plan where one person has moved out, and I need to add my wife’s account to the empty slot. We all live under the same roof. We are all in Italy and all payment methods are confirmed.
However, when I send her the invitation and she accepts it, she always gets the same message: "Find another Premium plan that's right for you. Our Family plans are intended for members of the same household. Take a look and find another Premium plan that's right for you."

I’ve tried many times and checked all the accounts, but I can’t figure it out. I contacted support and they opened a ticket with the dedicated team, but I don’t know if it will take days or even months to fix the issue.
So I’m asking here in case this has happened to someone else and to understand how they managed to solve it quickly.

I am facing the same problem here,
My brother's has been members for one year on the family subscription, and somehow get removed (?), 
But when i shared the join link, the link shows that message:
""Find another Premium plan that's right for you. Our Family plans are intended for members of the same household. Take a look and find another Premium plan that's right for you.""

Son mis hijos viven en la misma casa pero los elimine del plan por error, no pueden esperar 12 meses para activarlos de nuevo. Me veo obligada a cancelar suscripción en caso de no poder incluirlos de nuevo

I have the issue where my daughter cannot rejoin my family plan for 12 months, we are not going to wait this long as i pay £21 a month, this needs fixed ASAP. She has same account and so do i as before.  Please supply a solution thanks
