I tried moving from Duo to Family plan but Spotify extended my Duo instead

I tried moving from Duo to Family plan but Spotify extended my Duo instead

My Duo plan was supposed to end at the end of April 2023. I wanted to switch to the family plan after that so just bought it. After buying, Spotify shows that my Duo plan is now valid until April 2024.
I have the receipt that shows that I chose the Family plan so it wasn't a misclick from my end.

Depending on the country you're in and the payment method you're using it might take some time for the system to update your current subscription type. If you've used any form of prepaid payment, like 12 months prepaid, most likely you old Duo subscription will need to expire before the plan switches to Premium Family on your account. If that's the case the Premium Family subscription will become active on the day that the old plan expires, which should be some point in April 2023, so you won't be charged extra for the time in which your account is still in Duo.
