I want to join someone else's spotify family plan, but can't.

I want to join someone else's spotify family plan, but can't.

This person put in our adress correctly, and when I want to join them and put in the exact same adress, spotify can not find it.

Sorry to hear this is happening.


You can try the following:

  1. Make sure the country set on your account matches the country you're currently in. The same goes for the plan manager. You won't be able to join a Family plan set up in the USA if you're currently in Canada.
  2. Try opening the link that the plan manager sent you in an incognito browser window or another device, to avoid issues with cache and cookies.
  3. Enter the address manually, exactly as it's set on the manager account. Note that if the exact address doesn't appear in the autocomplete, you can select the nearest street or building. You have to be in the same location as the Family account manager and the address that is set on the plan. You won't be able to join from another city.

If the issue continues, please send us a screenshot of the exact error message you're getting.
