I want to quit a family plan

I want to quit a family plan

I had an individual plan, then i joined a family plan. I now want to get back to my individual plan without losing my own data and my playlists.

Hi @nicolikuakoski1,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

No worries, changing subscription plans wonโ€™t cause you to lose any of your playlists or saved music, and you can keep your same Spotify account.

You can leave the Premium Family plan by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Your plan, click Change Plan
  3. Scroll to Spotify Free and click Cancel Premium

When you leave the Premium Family plan, your account will revert to the free plan and you can then subscribe to your own Premium Individual plan again here.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
