Importing playlist to family plan

Importing playlist to family plan

Ok we had a premium account that was shared between a few family members.  The members had their own playlists.  We have since upgraded to the family plan and we all made separate accounts aside from the initail parent account.  So how do the childen accounts import their playlists under our family plan but to their new accounts?  Not interested in re-creating the wheel here and new playlists when we already have them all under the main account.  Thanks for any help.

Hey @grampabob69,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Community!

Right now, it's not possible to migrate playlists from one account to another.

We'd recommend setting all of your playlists to public, so that each family member can search through your list of playlists.

Once they see a playlist that they'd like to move over to their own account, they can hit the + New Playlist button, and drag all of the songs in that playlist to their playlist.

We hope this helps you out!

So Spotify misrepresented their product? "Each family member gets their own, unique Premium account. If anyone has Spotify already, they’ll keep all their saved music, playlists and recommendations."
