Issue on paying Premium Family

Issue on paying Premium Family

I'm having trouble paying for the premium family subscription with my credit card. This is the first time this has happened. It's the only credit card I have, and I'm from Venezuela. It's a bit difficult to get one. What can I do? This is the first time this has happened. I've been paying with it for months.

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

First up, we removed the picture you posted for security reasons.

Now, try updating your payment details from an incognito/private tab on your browser or from a different device with these steps. If that doesn't help, we recommend making sure your payment card meets these requirements. Additionally, checking everything is okay from the bank's side is always a good idea.

On another note, we understand you don't have another card, but it's worth checking if using another payment method like PayPal or Google Pay Billing work.

Let us know how that goes!

My bank is fine. Today I used my credit card to pay for Amazon AWS. But Spotify keeps giving me that error.

I got this credit card when I was in Panama, with my bank account, but I'm currently in Venezuela, but I haven't had any problems. In fact, the bank that issued the card is owned by the same people as my bank in Venezuela: Banesco.

Hey @siplhes,

Thanks for letting us know! In case your account has reverted to free, you will need to make sure that your country settings match the country your card was issued in. Try again after doing this and see if anything changes.

If this doesn't help out and/ or you're still on Premium but the payment isn't coming through without this being an issue on the bank's side of things, it'd be worth it if you could reach out to our support folks backstage so that they can take a look if there's anything on our end as well 🙂
You can contact them directly by using this link here.

Hope this gets resolved for you quickly! We're here if there's anything else in the meantime.
