Listening on dif devices

I just upgraded to family plan because me and kids all use the app, it said if I update to family plan we can all listen to DIFFERENT songs simultaneously from our own devices cuz normally if I'm listening to a song and my son hops on and plays a dif song it changes for me, we can all only listen to the same song instead of dif, paid for the family plan and still can't listen to dif songs plz help I'm bout to cancel!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the Chats section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

 

The Premium Family is a discounted plan for up to 6 users living at the same address. As you mentioned in your message, playback between the accounts should not affect the music of other plan members. This means that your kids could be using your same account instead of their own.

 

If you've already invited them to be part of your plan, they just need to log out from the current account and log back in using their own email and password, not yours. If not, check this article for more info about invites and requirements.

 

We'd also recommend taking a look at our Spotify Kids app in case you have young kids 🙂
