Hello, I talked to Spotify agents a few days ago and I asked if I can join a new family plan after they checked my account, they said I'm able to join a new one. So I paid someone to purchase a family plan for me, but my account is limited and the information is wrong! So they are not going to refund my money and I'm stuck! I wish someone from Spotify help to resolve this issue by removing my restriction for only this time!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community.

 

While you can only switch Family plans once a year, you can always re-join a plan you've been in within the last 12 months.

 

If you are seeing an error message when trying to join another Family plan now, it probably means that before receiving the invitation to join the Family plan, you were a part of another Family plan (not the same one) and therefore your account is facing this restriction now.

 

If you'd like to join the other Family plan with this account, you'll need to wait for the restriction to end.
