Does this happen when you're listening on an external device (bluetooth or Wifi) with Spotify Connect? Feel free to also let us know what troubleshooting you've done so far so we avoid repeating the steps. If you haven't already, try reinstalling the app by following the steps here. You can also try connecting to a different network / switching to Mobile data to see if the issue would still occur.
Something else you can try is setting Spotify to Offline Mode, restarting the app and deactivating Offline Mode as this would trigger an internal refresh of the app that may help here.
