Music stops on one speaker when playing on another speaker (spotify family)

Music stops on one speaker when playing on another speaker (spotify family)

Upgraded to Spotify family so my children could each play music on their own Amazon echo dot speakers. However when one child plays a song, Spotify stops everywhere else, despite everyone in the family having a family profile

Hey @DAH78,

Thanks for reaching out.

You can connect multiple Spotify accounts to Alexa, so I recommend doing that if you haven't yet.

For that, you must first log in with your multiple Amazon accounts to the Amazon Household. After this each person in the home can connect Spotify to Alexa using their individual accounts. However, they must first ask Alexa to “Switch Profiles” when accessing the Spotify library.

You can find some more info on how to do this at https://in.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D56Q0000D6w07hSQA/set-up-echo-show-to-use-2-spotify-accounts-.... 🙂

I hope this clears things up!
