My wife's and my Spotify account are linked. How can we separate them?

My wife's and my Spotify account are linked. How can we separate them?

When I use Spotify it cuts out her account. I also have all her playlists and favorites. We would like to separate our accounts so we can select our own music.

Hi there, welcome to the Community!

It seems like you and your wife are using the same account - that's why she gets cut out when you use it.

Please click on the link bellow and check your subscription:

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

If you see your credentials, and if your current plan is the Individual Premium, please ask your wife to log out her Spotify app and log back in using her own credentials. On the other hand, if you see your wife's credentials, you're the one who should log out and then log in your account.

You can also upgrade to the Duo Premium, so you both can use your independent accounts.

Let me know if you need further help!
