My Question or Issue

 

I don't have the new Lossless option on any of my devices.  App has been updated to the latest on all, still not there. 

 

Your own AI help System said it should be on Family Premium yet I am not seeing it.

 

Yes I am looking in the right place, where you change the quality,  the highest I have is 'Very High' which is  not new.

Het is te verwachten dat spotify losless maar een beperkt aantal gebruikers uit een select klubje in een beperkt aantal landen zam bereiken. Spotify liegt al 4 jaar tegen haar gebruikers door valse beloftes te doen.

I wouldn't be surprised if this roll out takes as long as it did for them to "announce" it in the first place. Years from now people will still be talking about the elusive high resolution spotify. God i wish apple would improve their client so that this company would just go out of business into extinction. I've never experienced a technology product that is so inconsistent as spotify loves to be. Let me see this reply 3 years from now if i have hi-res yet or if i'm still waiting like i have been since friggin 2016

I had one ‘seat’ not used in my familiy subscription. Took it myself and got lossless right away. A crazy workaround … but it works😜

Well it seems as of this morning, Lossless has now been added to my account 🙂

Went the old-school method and deleted/re-installed the latest Android version (9.0.84.1320). Lossless came right up as an option afterwards. Also worked for the Windows Desktop version.

Can't give a rational explanation for what is a backend issue since the desktop was the latest version.

I'm in US, so results may vary?

I have i Iphone with new IOS 26 and spotify premium. Newest Spotify Version 9.0.82.1033

I dont have the posibillity to use lossless. What can I do?

Thank you. But in my case uninstall/reinstall didn't work 😞

Have you cleared the cache? Rebooted after re-install? Signed-out/back in to resync account?

Those are the only other ways I know aside from waiting. 

This thread is not resolved. I am a family plan account owner as well and the only one on my plan who does not have lossless. Very bizarre and unfair that Spotify would deliberately ice out the account owner. Seems like something that could have gone more smoothly than this.

I found this guide, but it still doesn’t work.

  1. Open Spotify. In the app's settings (you can access them by going to your profile picture in the top left corner and then tapping Settings and privacy gear icon), select Data-saving and offline, then Storage and click on Clear cache.
  2. Head to your device's Settings, then tap General.
  3. Tap iPhone Storage.
  4. Select Spotify from the list of apps.
  5. Tap Offload the app and confirm. This will delete the app but its documents data will be kept.
  6. Then tap Delete App and confirm. This action should delete any leftover documents and data.
  7. Once the app is deleted, press and hold the Side/Top button and either volume button until the power off slider appears.
  8. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
  9. After your device turns off, wait a couple of minutes.
  10. Press and hold the Top (or Side) button again until the display turns on.
  11. Switch your device back on and install Spotify from the App Store.

What surprises me is that even after uninstalling the app on the iPhone, the Spotify login remains saved — no matter if I clear the cache or do anything else.

Like many already noticed in this thread, the admin users in family accounts do not seem to receive lossless (so far). Same for me, so I created an extra account on my family plan and logged in to that instead.  Then I got lossless immediately. Very frustrating to have to create an extra account, I probably could have had this option a month ago already!

Does anyone have any idea how to get it working with my existing account?

The Same with the Windows App. The new User works fine and my User didnt Show lossless

I'm still not getting lossless sound quality. I've tried all the solutions in this thread, such as clearing cache, logging out, uninstalling and reinstalling.

@weissm3 - Apple stores passwords on a local key and the only way to erase them is to factory reset your device.

(In the olden days, a jailbroken phone would allow you access.)

Still no lossless option in Germany 😞

I confirm this bug also with my family account. My family members have already the lossless option, but I don't 

Not yet available. After 15 years of loyalty I'm very disappointed 

Lossless has appeared for me now. Wahoo!
