My Question or Issue

We have used the family plan for about a year or so now through our Maxis mobile plan, but recent issues with Maxis made this option unavailable. We still wish to use Spotify Premium, so we opted to change the payment option for our family plan to card. However, when we went to pick the card payment option, we couldn't even enter the card info and was shown an error (shown below).  We tried changing the payment option to via mobile with no luck. I tried using incognito, on a different browser and on a different device to no avail. 

 

Using my friend's account (lives in same area, same country set in account) who uses Spotify Free, we could access the page to input card info with no error. What is going on here?

Can you confirm if your account has converted to the free version yet?

 

Note: since you already have Premium with a partner company, you first need to cancel with them and wait for your current Premium to end.

 

Another useful step to do is to try from another device.
