Following....Same issue and trying to add a family member but will not verify my premium account address.
Note that members can only switch Family plans once a year, so if you're getting this error message, you won't be able to join another Family plan for 12 months. The folks over at Customer Support can provide more information on the matter.
@1254917328, could you tell us the exact error message you're seeing? A screenshot would also be greatly appreciated, just make sure to cover any sensitive personal info. You can try updating the address on your account page, then asking the family member to enter the updated one instead to see if that does the trick.

I never changed my account. Spotify booted me from my family plan, never sent an email to verify my address and is now gating me behind a 12 month period. That's absolutely absurd
