Plan = Premium for Family

Devices = iPhone 8 and 2 mac laptops with IOS 10.14.4

 

My Question or Issue:

Getting the "Oops something went wrong, please try again." error message when trying to add a family member.  The post that said the issue was solved didn't have an actual solution.  I've tried logging the invite in from multiple device/computers, uninviting the user, re-inviting, clearing cache, etc., but nothing is working.  Been going on for a couple days now.  It's like an endless cycle of entering in the invitee info, and going back to the entry screen.

thanks for posting !

 

I believe we can try and go around it.

Please create a new e-mail address for the member you wish to add.

Send the invite there and have him check the new e-mail from his own device and confirm it.

 

Note: please make sure he has the same address as the owner and the rest of the family memebers.

I'd also suggest using an incognito webpage for the process.

Thanks for the reply @OneByBoo.  Before I try that, I should mention that the member I'm trying to add already has a Spotify premium account, so if I create a new email, how woudl that work?

Please make sure to follow this three instructions again:

- Use a incognito webpage for the process

- Make sure that you're not using the same device to send and accept the invite

- Same phyisical address as the owner of the plan
