My Question 

Credit card was stolen so I canceled it, waiting for a new one, won't arrive for 7 to 10 business days. No interac/online banking payment option is available on Spotify Canada website. My family account plan is past due because of the stolen credit card, bought a gift card but it isn't accepted for family plans. So do I just cancel spotify because the only way to pay for a family plan is with a credit card?

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Gift Cards can't be used for discounted plans like Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, or trial offers.

If a monthly recurring payment fails, you won't immediately lose your subscription. Spotify will try to take the payment again over the next few days.

If all charging attempts are unsuccessful, your account will revert back to the free plan, but you can upgrade again at anytime here.
