Premium Family Subscription

Premium Family Subscription

My family is basically a recomposed family and we all live in diffrent places and all see each other during the holidays. When I got the premium family plan in France my idea was to also give it to my step sisters and brothers but they weren't with me when it was created and so now I can't invite them in. They rarely visit France and because of the payment policy of spotify the credit card has to match the country you're in so i can't chnage it to another country like Portugal where we usually meet because my visa card is belgium. How can I invite them in the family plan??? The fact that the next I go to portugal will be in 4 months also wastes my money.

Spotify really messed up on this and I don't understand why they made this policy. What does it matter if you dont live in the same adress?

Hey @Nonoluna3,

Thanks for reaching out.

All members of a Premium for Family plan must reside at the same physical address (and country, of course).

You can, of course, share your Premium for Family plan with your family if you're all living at the same physical address (e.g. during holidays) and all have the same country setting set in the account. 🙂

Yes, thank you for the answer. Just one more question, I bought premium in
France but my visa card is Belgium so on my account it says that my country
is Belgium. Will my family be able to get into the family plan in France or
will they have to be in Belgium? (We've never and will not in the near
future visit Belgium)

They need to have their account's country setting set to Belgium in order to join your plan and this country change can only be done when they're actually in Belgium.

Hope this clears things up!
